Get informed and protect yourself against cybercriminals.

 Golden Rules of Safety: 

1. Treat every firearm as if it were loaded.
2. Never point a firearm at anything you do not intend to shoot.
3. Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until your ready to fire
4. Keep your firearm on safe until you intend to fire
5. Know your target and what's beyond.

If you abide by these simple rules than you can never have an accident or a negligent discharge resulting in an injury or death of another person.

Child Safety:

Education is the key in making sure that your children are safe.  The NRA has a great program called Eddie Eagle which teaches children to:

1. STOP
2. DON'T TOUCH
3. LEAVE THE AREA
4. TELL AN ADULT

These basics should be taught to every child.  Adults should secure all their firearms in approved storage containers such as safes and lock boxes and utilize locking devices such as trigger locks.
